Telecommunications Installer/Technician

The Augusta Electrical JATC's Telecommunication Installer/Technician apprenticeship program is part of a nationally recognized program developed by the National Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee. For more information regarding the NJATC go to the following link, www.njatc.org

Our apprenticeship program is registered with the Department of Labor State Apprenticeship and Training Council. Graduates of our program receive recognition from the Department of Labor as well as the NJATC and are recognized across the United States as highly skilled and qualified craftsman.

The Telecommunication Installer/Technician apprenticeship consists of 4800 hours of OJT and three years of related classroom instruction.

In addition to wages the apprentice is covered by an extensive fringe benefit package that includes health coverage for the apprentice and a state-of-the-art retirement plan with many options for investment.

Upon completion of the related schooling and 4800 hours of OJT the apprentice will be advanced to the status of journeyman technician with all the pay and fringe benefits currently in effect.
