Electrical JATC's inside wireman apprenticeship
program is part of a nationally recognized program developed by the National
Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee. For more information regarding the

Our apprenticeship
program is registered with the Department of Labor State Apprenticeship and
Training Council. Graduates of our program receive recognition from the
Department of Labor as well as the NJATC and are recognized across the United
States as highly skilled and qualified craftsman.
The inside wireman
apprenticeship program consists of 8000 hours of on the job training and 900
hours (five years) of related classroom instruction.
The apprentice starts the
program at 50% of the current journeyman rate of pay. The following table shows
the periods of apprenticeship.

In addition to wages the
apprentice is covered by an extensive fringe benefit package that includes health
coverage for the apprentice and a state-of-the-art retirement plan with many
options for investment.
Upon
completion of the related schooling and 8000 hours of OJT the apprentice will
be advanced to status of journeyman wireman with all the pay and fringe
benefits currently in effect.
